When considering how best to honor Peggy’s time here at the Urban Mission…

We wanted something that would be long-lasting and that would pay homage to her dedication to families in our community. We decided the best way to do this would be by building a playground in her honor for current and future SPARK students to enjoy. Peggy founded the SPARK Program when the Mission was still located in the Second Presbyterian Church and it has touched so many lives.

We will also have two benches engraved with both Peggy Garrett’s and Laura Lee’s years of service to honor the impact they made during their time at the Urban Mission.
